The Glitz'n Glam is back
Revitalized from a Grade III heritage building built in 1936
After going through a rigorous revitalization project, this old building is now transformed into a classy boutique hotel. The heritage façade belies the 20-storey rear extension inspired by traditional Chinese Bogu shelves that deliver Hotel 1936 a sense of cultural identity. The 50 designer guestrooms are chic and contemporary, yet offering the magnificent scenery of Lion Rock and the glistening night view of the Kowloon peninsula.
TRAVEL BACK TO THE 30’S
The art deco design of yesteryears is preserved in the exhibition hall on the second floor of the hotel. The timber flooring in the main living room, the floor tiles, the fireplace, the wooden doors, the window frames and the curtain racks…brings our guests a time travel back to swanky lifestyle of the 30s.
